Fresh Start…

PunkImagesRock had a rough first half of 2010, and by mid summer, we all thought that it was going to die.

But fear not! after a quick change of the photographer and writer lineup, PunkImagesRock will be back and stronger than ever!!

This new lineup is much smaller but is as followed;

Daniel Carrasco
Kelsey Amor
Federico de Leo

We will keep bringing you photos, interviews, and reviews of all of your favorite artists!

We are also in the works of bring you a new section to PIR, which I will have to keep a mystery for now, but know it will be announced very soon!

I hope all of you are having a great end to the summer, or winter for our Aussie friends!

March Updates!

So we’ve had a few bumps throughout February, but now that it’s a new month, we can bring you new media!

First off, we just posted a long list of upcoming shoots we have planned all through out the end of May, and new shows will be added to the list as we get them confirmed.

Second, in a few hours we will be posting new photos and reviews from the past few weeks!

Keep your eyes and ears open, and check back in a few hours.

Farewell Scary Kids…

This past month the Gilbert, AZ rockers, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, began their final journey throughout the United States.
They have decided to call it quits without telling their fans why, or giving any information, but seeing them a few weeks ago at the world famous Chain Reaction in Anaheim, CA, I have come to possible reason to their end. I will not say this now, I’ll post a blog about this later, but for now…here are the photos from their last Chain Reaction show!

Scary Kids was joined by Dance Gavin Dance, Mod Sun and She Screams Remedy that night.

The Desolate Wastelander

Two weeks ago I had the pleasure of sitting down to an online interview with most of the members of The Desolate Wastelander. The Desolate Wastelander is an independent music blog that will leave you dancing!

What do each of you bring to the table when posting something new on the blog?

Euthanasia: Diana and I mostly post about unknown or lesser-known indie bands. I try to keep the art facet up as well. Will is more about the electro scene and along with Marco, handles the fashion articles. Bert is currently interviewing a YoutTube videographer, as well as classic flicks and some music.

Hey guys…Daniel here once again.

We now have an addition to our collection of goodies, straight out of Italy is our newest team member! Federico has just sent me a concert review from the Placebo/Silversun Pickups show in Milan. Please check it out, it has really made me want to see them for myself.

Also, I just had the pleasure to have an only interview with music and fashion blog, The Desolate Waste Lander. They are seriously amazing at what they do, and I tend to get lost on their site listening to music every day!

Newcomer photographer Kelsey Amor has just posted photos from the “You’d Be Way Cuter In A Coffin” tour in Pomona, CA!
